What is A-GPS?
Assisted GPS, generally abbreviated as A-GPS or aGPS, is a system which can, under certain conditions, improve the startup performance, or time-to-first-fix (TTFF) of a GPS satellite-based positioning system. It is used extensively with GPS-capable cellular phones as its development was accelerated by the U.S. FCC's 911 mandate making the location of a cell phone available to emergency call dispatchers.
How to setup A-GPS on Gooapple 3G?
1. Setting > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks > Data enabled, switch your SIM data service on, please sure your SIM card has data service before do it.
2. Setting > Location & security > My Location - Use wireless network, switch it on.
Then you can use Google Maps to start GPS navigation.
Note: The A-GPS will spend lots of stream of your data service, in some SIM carrier limited data service, it will cost lots of money.
