We get news from Xiaomi, they will release original Android Ice Cream Sandwich ROM soon. The new MIUI version name is MIUI V4, it is anounced a few days ago. Today, at Xiaomi official website leaks some picture about the new Android ICS run on Xiaomi M1 phone. It will be the first Android ICS phone in China, and also be the second just after Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

Xiaomi release news in his forum, it said in End-November or early December, they will release new MIUI V4 beta version based on Android 4.0. In order to demonstrate their progress, last night the first time the company released a MIUI V4 part of the design draft.

It is reported that, MIUI V4 is a Xiaomi phone operating system base on Android Ice Cream Sandwiches, it is a new design is still in progress, but the process went very smoothly, as to when to release, there is no exact time.

Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is the latest version of the Android platform for phones, tablets, and more. It builds on the things people love most about Android — easy multitasking, rich notifications, customizable home screens, resizable widgets, and deep interactivity — and adds powerful new ways of communicating and sharing.

Here's some of the enhancements found in Android Ice Cream Sandwich:

• Virtual buttons in the UI, instead of taking up a capacitive screen
• Widgets are in a new tab, listed in a similar list to apps
• Folders are much easier to create, with a drag-and-drop style similar to iOS

Samsung Galaxy Nexus will coming very SOON, we are waiting at Hong Kong. It will be exciting time for unveiling Android Ice Cream Sandwich and Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone. Here is the full specification we have got so far:

Just like the former news, we'll be getting our first taste of Ice Cream Sandwich next week, on October 19th to be precise. Of course we've already had a whiff of what it looks like in a video, and sampling the new Music and Google+ apps gave us another good look. But now we're set to see it for real, and if all goes well we might just get some new hardware out of the deal, too. Will this be the day the Nexus Prime makes us think that flat smartphones are... well... square? We'll be there live to let you know as it happens.

Eric Schmidt continued to emphasize some of his favorite speaking points, from cloud computing to the future of the Android OS, at the Dreamforce conference held in San Francisco last week, . He also touched briefly upon Google’s mobile platform, confirming the launch of Android Ice Cream Sandwich for sometime in October or November. His words:

The hunt for the next Nexus phone (also known as the Nexus Prime) is on, and it looks like we could see it donning Ice Cream Sandwich in time for Halloween. According to a report in Korea's Electronic Times, those oh so familiar "insiders" are fingering an October launch for the Samsung handset. It will apparently rock a 4.5-inch HD AMOLED display and a 1.5GHz dual core processor, which squares mighty nicely with previous reports. Of course, we'll believe it when we see it -- or at least an official announcement -- but for now, we're keeping the Ice Cream Sandwich dream alive.

A number of images of latest unreleased version of Android operating system codenamed Ice Cream Sandwich have leaked online, giving the first glimpse of the operating system’s new style and features. These four new images (below) were leaked by RootzWiki and the Android Police blog this week; however Google did not immediately respond with any confirmation over these photos legitimacy.

According to the lastest report coming out of BGR, a source has claimed that Google will bump up the ship date of Android’s next generation and its accompanying Phones in an effort to better combat the release of the iPhone 5. We could see Android Ice Cream Sandwich Phones as early as October, creating an appealing option for owners of the first Motorola Droid with two-year contracts conveniently up for renewal around the same time. One of the first devices to run the next iteration of Android could be a next-gen Nexus model, though all is merely rumors and speculation at this point.
