Meizu MX is the dream smarphone of Meizu, and now, the dream is upgraded with quad-core Samsung Exynos processor. Today, Meizu released the new phone on the official website, the new phone is named Meizu MX Quad-core, come with 32GB and 64GB versions, the prices are $499(RMB2999) and $669(RMB3999). The old model Meizu MX 16GB phone will drop to $399(RMB2399).

This year will be quad-core phone's party, after HTC ONE X and Huawei Ascend D Quad anounce on MWC, rumor Meizu will release new quad core Meizu MX phone in May this year, but named Meizu MX4. The new smartphone will install Flyme OS, which is customized from Android 4.0 OS, and the processor will be Samsung Exynos 4412, 1.8GHz frequency. About the release time, it will be May, as said as J.Wong, the CEO of Meizu.

Meizu MX phone was unveiled today at official website. This is the dream-product of Jack Wong, the CEO of Meizu. Meizu has millions of funs in China, but now, there is a huge threat - Xiaomi phone, which was released a month ago.

We weren't expecting to hear anything about the Meizu MX so soon, but as always, CEO Jack Wong loves surprises. Earlier today, our main man quietly mentioned on his forum that his upcoming 4-inch Android smartphone will now be released in China at the end of September (around the same time as the next iPhone event?), meaning we won't have to wait till the end of the year to see all the goodies. What's even more interesting, though, is that there will be two Meizu MX variants: the 16GB version comes with a dual-core processor, while the 32GB version will sport a quad-core beast.

The final Meizu M9 official Android Gingerbread firmware was released now. It takes 3 months of Meizu engineers hard working from the first beta version Android Gingerbread firmware at April.
